I must admit to being a relative Facebook novice. But the idea of making it easy to share a list of books that you have out on loan would be interesting, not only for those at your institution, but with those you are working with elsewhere. We could obviously cut and paste a list from Euclid into a Word document, but it would be so much better if we could click and do it. Presumably our friends would have their library plugged into the system, so they could find where the books were in their library easily.
All the same, I don't know that this really works better than a library's course reserve system, and I don't see many students making use of this.
