Digitizing library collections

This was an interesting read. In some ways I think it's too bad that we're not linking up with Google for a number of reasons: it would give us more exposure and help put the university in the same ranks as the other schools cooperating with Google. We would also gain the benefit of the collections of those libraries. The advantage here is, of course, that we won't get sued. And that Emory is capable of developing its own plan. I like the idea of ordering your own copy of out-of-print books.
